My name is Fred Schmidt-Arenales, I am an artist seeking performers for a performance component for a Group Relations Conference happening in Chicago the weekend of October 25th through October 27th.
I’m looking for several performers of any type who are comfortable performing scripted material and improvising as themselves. The performance will also be filmed, so they must also be comfortable being on camera. The content of the performance will reflect what happens in a Group Relations conference, a form that emphasizes naming and making conscious the unconscious processes and events of group life. Performers should be able to commit to about six three hour rehearsals in the two weeks prior to the conference and are currently available for that whole weekend itself, though there will only be two performances throughout that time.
