Paid Extras for TV show in Baton Rouge, LA.
Actors Timothy Simons of Veep and This Is Us’s Ron Cephas Jones, along with Charlie Plummer and Kristine Froseth, are set to star in an upcoming Hulu series called “Looking For Alaska.” According to Deadline, the show is being produced as a mini-series and will consist of 8 episodes which are being filmed in Louisiana this spring.
The Paramount Television show began production in LA recently and is currently casting for area locals that would like to work as paid background actors. Please see below for the current needs. Baton Rouge Louisianan’s Caballero casting is handling extras on the project.
“Looking for Alaska” is based on the book by John Green and is told from the perspective of a teen who is a new arrival at a boarding school. The teen falls for a girl named Alaska who is played by Kristine Froseth. He comes to realize that her life may not be the picture of perfection that he thought it was.

Seeking 18-22 year old men and women with dancing experience for an elegant Debutante Ball shooting on the North shore area. Escorts will require a fitting in Metairie and Debutantes will require a fitting at our office in Hammond, with a mandatory dance rehearsal closer to the shoot.

A good portion of the storyline revolves around our main characters and their lives and interactions with their classmates at school so we need people who will help bring our environment to life! This is a great chance to be a part of and possibly featured in HULU’s next big hit!
