CASTING CALL – PAID, Ongoing Roles
Family Fun Xperience and the FFX Show are casting for a new and exciting year-round production at the Virginia Beach Oceanfront! Our theater is now open with seating and other precautions to be Covid-safe for live shows – we want this to be safe for performers and crew as well as for families attending. This show is fast paced with unique game elements, and is about a family struggling to learn how they can grow stronger together (family-friendly, but NOT a show just for children). Improv/sketch skills are encouraged for this production.
All following roles are being cast with more than one person for the ongoing production:
• Father – hardworking dad with lots of hobbies and likes to fix things around the house, as well as telling the frequent dad joke.
• Mother – busy professional mom, involved with her kids and their activities. Loves puns but not dad jokes.
• Daughter – typical teenager (preferably played by older teen/young adult); bit sporty but also into current trends.
• Son – elementary-aged boy (preferably played by an older teen/young adult), typical little brother. Not nerdy genius, but tries hard to be smartest one in the family.
• Grandfather – Became a bit of a crazy inventor in his retirement, but also brings some gravitas/wisdom nuggets when needed.
• Ushers – Vital to this production as they will fill in miscellaneous roles, understudy the family roles, and help with game elements to keep the show flowing.

Auditions are ongoing and rehearsals starting very soon! Also potential to be cast in a commercial being filmed soon.
We are only considering cast who live in the local area or who are otherwise relocating themselves here. Positions are not remote work as this a live production. Show and rehearsal scheduling is all at our Virginia Beach resort area location. (Virginia, USA)
