Production Type: Student film project in San Jose, CA for De Anza College
There is no compensation because it is voluntary, but people can use the edited film for their portfolio purposes. Food will be provided on set.

Shooting Starts and Ends: Late April (TBD on two weekend days)
There will be one day of table read with the team. Dates may reschedule for May/June depending on the conditions of the coronavirus.

Synopsis:
A Native American 2nd grader wants to share his drum in class for show and tell; however, some of his classmates think the drum is weird. Ashamed of his culture, he decides to borrow his best friend’s toys in hoping that he could better connect with his classmates.

Roles:
*Each child must have one parent on set for supervision. There will also be a studio teacher on set for safety and supervision.*

[JERRY] [GENDER: MALE] [AGE: 8 to 12 years old] **SUPPORTING ROLE**
A classmate who believes he shines the most out of the other students. If he doesn’t like something, he is down-to-earth honest about his opinions.

[7 of 2nd GRADE STUDENTS] [GENDER: MALE or FEMALE] [AGE: 8 to 12 years old] **EXTRAS ROLE**
They are the side characters who are Michael’s classmates. They can be silly, quiet, outgoing, and numerous personalities that are unique to each student.
