Strong Eye Shorts is casting “LEGGO MY SOUL”, a short film written by Paul Newton and directed by Matt “Shapi” Shapiro. A la “Child’s Play”, a satanic murderer seeking immortality fails to place his soul into a person and it ends up in…something that makes waffles! When the satanic waffle iron arrives at the Macaroni house, Jill becomes entranced by the darned thing.

The Roles:
JILL MACARONI – late 30s, housewife, waffle enthusiast, harried mother of two who slowly goes insane.
STEVEN MACARONI – late 30s, cop, family man, both comically intelligent and totally oblivious.
BRIAN MACARONI – 12, cool young dude
MARIE MACARONI – 15, cool not-as-young dudette
ARTHUR – late 20s, rookie cop with a badass and a puppy dog side
LIONEL BUCKET – 50s, a warlock attempting a dark spell to live forever, with a penchant for the dramatic.
KIM – 20s, good ol’ fashioned crazy-bad-guy-in-a-horror-movie’s victim, with screams.
LEGGO MY SOUL is scheduled to shoot later in the summer. Strong Eye shorts is aware of the seriousness of safety on set as we continue to navigate the COVID-19 crisis. We will proceed with our pre-production schedule as we monitor the situation and our shooting schedule will be confirmed as soon as we deem it safe to do so.
