“Trap” is a short film that centers on a woman’s relationship with her father. She is assisting him in setting animal traps in the woods near their home. And the horrors of her past experiences come bubbling up to the surface.
Non-Union, Independent, Short Film in the Chicago suburbs.
Filming 1.5 days in April, specific dates to be determined.

This short film will be released traditionally, along with being part of a proposal to be made into a feature-length psychological horror film.
CHARACTERS:
WOMAN, Female, Age: 25-35, Ethnicity unspecified
She has grown up resourceful, but troubled. Her father has instilled in her the ability to face the hazards of nature. But not his own abusive behaviors. And the results of his abuse become apparent one horrific afternoon.
FATHER, Male, Age: 45-55, Ethnicity unspecified (same as daughter)
He is working class, abusive, and dirty. He is always prepared to manipulate his daughter in whatever way he can.
