Official Synopsis:
A music duo, Jackie: a quiet folk guitarist, and Rome: a loud electric guitarist both have ambitions of breaking into the music industry. In the midst of their jealous competition, the two are withholding a deviant secret that could potentially cost them both their lives.
Jackie (Lead 1): Female, Age Range: 18-22
Character Description:
Jackie, a young, blonde, up and coming guitarist, struggles to find her way in the shifting ’60s music scene. Her singing partner, Rome, frequently disrupts her quiet nature and causes her to expose a secret for which could prove detrimental to both of their lives.
Needs to be able to play a reserved and manipulative character; subtlety is key.
Rome (Lead 2): Male, Age Range: 18-22
Character Description:
Rome, a young, talented electric guitarist, falls easily into the counterculture scene with his long hair and loud opinions, but when Jackie, his music partner, ropes the two of them into a scandal, he is forced to reconcile his quiet side and make decisions that will impact the both of their lives.
This part requires confidence and the ability to convincingly control a room.
Lady Friend (Supporting): Female, Age Range: 18-22
Character Description:
Another young blonde woman, needs to be quick on her feet and able to hold her own and control the scene.
