This film is an assignment for The Northern Alberta Institute of Technology in Edmonton, Alberta. The summary is of a young girl raised in a strict family trying to prove to her brothers her strength and fearlessness by going against her family’s well-known rules against rollercoasters by riding the well-known Mindbender in 1986 months before it’s fatal crash.
Requirements: No age or work requirements are needed however I will ask that you dress up yourselves for the filming as this will be set during the 80s. Requirements will be discussed further when applicable.
CAST:
Paula: The main character is a young girl who tends to be a rule-breaker to make a point to her older brothers especially when she goes against her family’s rules to prove a point to her brothers over how tough she actually is. (young adult, ages 15-18)
Jaime: Main character’s older brother taunts Paula at the beginning of the film. (young adult, ages 15-18)
Randy: Main character’s older brother taunts Paula at the beginning of the film. (young adult ages 15-18)
Leonard: current boyfriend to Michelle helps her on her quest to ride the Mindbender and prove her fearlessness to her brothers. (young adult ages 15-18)
Mother: Mother to Paula is only in one scene for film middle-aged actors for this role only.
Father: Father to Paula is only in one scene for film middle-aged actors for this role only.
