An upcoming Netflix project is casting teens as extras in NYC.
Extras casting directors in New York City are seeking 14 to 17 year olds in the New York City area who are available and local to work as paid extras on the production. The movie stars Jaeden Martell and Donald Sutherland and the chosen teen extras will be part of a classroom scene in the project that will be filmed shortly.
About the project:
Mr. Harrigan’s Phone was one of four stories in King’s latest collection of novellas, If It Bleeds. It centers on Craig (Martell), a young boy living in a small town, who befriends older, reclusive billionaire, Mr. Harrigan (Sutherland).
Those who are local to NYC and would like to submit their kids for consideration may check out the casting notice below.
Extras casting call for kids and teens:
GWCI Seeking children to TEENS (14-17yo) to portray Students in High School Dance & Classroom scenes for the Netflix/Blumhouse film “Mr. Harrigan’s Phone” based on the Stephen King story starring Jaeden Martell and Donald Sutherland.
Work dates = November 22th – 24th & November 29th – December 3rd [not needed every day]
Covid testing = For Monday Film Shoots; Testing on Fridays. Tues-Friday Film Shoots: Two days prior to shoot dates.
Parents/Guardians are required to be tested and accompany children to testing and filming dates. Covid Testing is compensated for parents and children.
THIS IS PAID WORK! SAG & Non-SAG = $182/12hrs; covid testing stipend for both SAG & Non-SAG is $100.

Per the recently revised Return to Work Agreement, this production intends to mandate vaccinations in accordance with the unions’ guidance and will require everyone working in Zone A (other than minors under the age of 12) to be fully vaccinated as a condition of
employment and/or prior to entering the workplace. Persons who cannot be vaccinated due to a disability, medical condition or a sincerely held religious belief, practice or observance may be entitled to an exception if a reasonable accommodation is available.
For minors, this will also be required for the parent / on set guardian.
