SYNOPSIS: Jeremy supplies his neighborhood with a unique type of service. For a stack of cash, he will steal any one item
from anyone’s house within the parameters of the development, no questions asked. Think hiring a hitman, but for petty theft. In this
neighborhood, everybody steals from everybody.
ROLES NEEDED:
*JEREMY (20s) : just your neighborhood petty thief for hire. Jeremy makes a living by receiving custom “orders” from clients via
burner phones. It’s a life of cheap thrills and quick bucks, but is it the life he always wanted?
*JACKIE (20s) : Jackie is an unhappy individual. She lived her whole life by the books, but when she met her future husband, Magnus,
their relationship opened up a thrill ride type of lifestyle she never knew existed. This lifestyle came at a price however: their fights began to be
numerous, and the abuse and adultery on Magnus’s behalf even more so. Jackie gave up her future, and for what?
*MAGNUS (30s): Magnus is a stockbroker. Probably corrupt in his practices, he does have the benefit to live in a nice suburbia with
his beautiful and dutiful wife, Jackie. Magnus met Jackie when he was guest lecturing a business course at her university, and married soon
thereafter. Magnus likes to keep her around, but some days her simple charms aren’t enough to satisfy, and he seeks the aid of…outside sources, to
get the job done. Magnus plans to move to the city come fall, where his nightly exploits will be in much closer proximity to himself.
TOM (20s): A neighbor of Jackie and Magnus. Avid fan of classic rock. He never seeks out use of the local theft service, but when things
of his go missing, he has ideas of who might be the culprit.
MARY (20s): is just your typical white suburban neighbor on the block. She may come across as posh and polite, but she takes great
pleasure in the bewilderment of others.
