Bark Bark Entertainment is a new indie production studio and the first project is “Felicia Fierce.” This low-budget film is about a female trans person as she faces various life struggles.
Felicia (lead) is trans, in her mid-twenty’s and can sing.
Marti (support) is Felicia’s younger sister, somewhere in her early twenty’s.
Mom (support) is Felicia’s mother and is forties to fifties. Julian (support) is Felicia’s best friend, a male, who is also in his mid-twenty’s.
Judges 1, 2, and 3 (day players) are characters similar to that of a televised talent competition and are between the ages of twenty and seventy.
All casting to be complete by 9/1; Filming to begin in 9/18 and should last a few weeks. Most filming will be done in area of Charlotte, NC. Characters Felicia, Marti, and Julian will have additional filming in other locations across the country and will receive compensation for travel, food, and hotel accommodations in addition to flat rate (non-union). Mom character will receive flat rate (non-union). Judges 1, 2, and 3 will be day players and receive flat rate (non-union). Please include head shot and/or recent image. Actors with little to no experience encouraged to apply. If possible, please include resume.
