Mary Micheal “Mikey” – 10-12, Female, any ethnicity
Mikey is a spunky, stubborn little girl. Raised by a single mom in a small town, she loves her church and looks at life with a do-good optimism.
Anita – 10-12, Female, Hispanic/Latino
Tita is Mikey’s best friend. She is the youngest of four brothers and is clearly the brains of the operation.
Ezra – 10-12, Male, any ethnicity
Ezra is the preachers son and takes great pride in that fact. He is an award winning boy scout and a pain in everybody’s side. He’s also very loyal and kind hearted.
Pastor Rick – 40-50, Male, any ethnicity
Ezra’s dad and Mikey’s Pastor. Clean cut, good ole boy; a role model in this little town. Underneath, he hides a sneaky, greedy self.
Annie “Mama” – 30s, Female, any ethnicity
Mikey’s mom, and proud of it. Annie is a single mother keeping her head above water.
Ms Sheffield – 70s, Female, any ethnicity
Ms Sheffield is a staple in town. She’s known as everybody’s sweet, snarky grandma who loves her cats and her crafts. She has become a safe haven for Mikey.
Church Ladies – 30s/50s, Female, any ethnicity
Women who frequent the church. Some speaking lines, featured in three scenes.
Bullies – 10/15, Male, any ethnicity
Boys who frequent the church. Some speaking lines, featured in four scenes. Some stunt work required, mild fight scene.
