Background for “Deli Boys.”
A new TV show is filming in the Chicago area this month and next. The series called “Deli Boys” will be filming the pilot episode which began filming this week and is in need of quite a few extras / background actors for a funeral scene that will be filming next week.
Little information is available about the show except that it revolves around a family. Those who live in the Chicagoland area and are available to work on set, may check out the casting notice below for more details on how to get on the show.
Our DELI BOYS big day is Tuesday, November 1, for our congregation in the funeral scenes. Filming will take place in South Shore/Chicago. We need available background actors 18 years and older to play South Asian/Mid Eastern friends, co-workers and relatives. We can also cast Latino and African American to play these roles, especially older folks. Must be at least 18 years old to submit. If you know someone you might like to be booked with, please provide their name and contact info in your submission. Everyone does not need to have set experience on this day – just professionalism and dependability.
Additional information will be provided to you regarding CDC compliance with vaccine and booster after you submit. Or, see if your religious or medical exemption would apply to this set.
Everyone will be Covid tested approximately 48 hours prior at Chicago Studio City or their other testing site in Chicago. You would need to schedule a daytime test.
$123.20 for up to 8 hours, plus time and one half overtime. More than likely, you will have overtime this day. Will probably start very early and go late. Plus $50 Covid Testing Stipend. Parking will be covered. Meal will be provided if a full day.
