CASTING NOTICE: MUSIC COMPOSER MFA THESIS FILM/CHAPMAN UNIVERSITY.

Seeking a composer for an Original Score of MFA Thesis Film PSEUDOCIDE. The film is an 8 minute “proof of concept” pilot for a limited series. PSEUDOCIDE is currently in pre-production and needs a film score of approximately 10-15 minutes.
ABOUT THE FILM: The story is a psychological drama, revenge fantasy. A young woman’s desire turns into compulsion as she plots to unmask the tech titan that she holds responsible for her best friend’s suicide during a dinner meeting.
FILM SCORE AESTHETIC/MOOD: Interested in an unconventional film score that incorporates dark themes that communicate the psychology of obsession between predator and prey. The score should feature a heightened violin that foreshadows a sense of foreboding, intensity among unsettling atmospheric tones.
COMPARISON: Anything from the brilliant mind of Mica Levi.
LOCATION: Film shoots in or around Los Angeles, Orange and/or Anaheim California in February 2023. Remote nationwide submissions are acceptable and remote job position is acceptable.
