The TV show “Young Rock” which stars Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson is casting paid extras.
The show which is based on The Rock and his experiences as he was growing up, is filming in the Memphis area and the casting directors for the series have been releasing casting calls for folks that live in the Memphis area and have the time to work on set for a day or two as a paid background actor in a TV show.
“Young Rock” which is created by Nahnatchka Khan and Jeff Chiang, was released last year and is currently in production of new episodes for the 2022 / 2023 season of the show. The show has been releasing extras casting calls in Memphis, Tennessee for some time and is expected to continue filming into the latter fall months in the area.
Please note that these are casting calls for extras and normally pay minimum wage with no travel expenses covered. Extras calla also tend to be of a last minute nature, so please only apply / submit your information if you currently live in the area and have a schedule flexible enough to work on set, locally, with short notice.

$135.00 for 12 hour day plus OT for filming,
$33.75 for covid test
