“Promise of the Garden” is an original play by Peter Storey, directed by Brooke Callahan. This production will begin rehearsals in mid-March and opens July 8th, 2022, running every Friday & Saturday outdoors near Colorado Springs through August 27th.
Promise of the Garden is a lighthearted tragedy in three acts following Mark Lowe’s journey deep into American’s wilds. Just back from the Ice, Mark craves a job in the woods, and gets one, as far in and far out as anyone can go in this country. Working for corporate giant MagnaChemAg at a remote science station, he hears of a brilliant scientist lost in the woods, or lost to them, and sets out to bring her back. But is she the one who needs rescuing?
