Independent Student film “Duet”

Duet is a student short film that centers around a fleeting interaction between two strangers and how this brief moment impacts each of their lives. We are looking to cast several different roles, primarily the two leads, but also several of the supporting characters as well.
Film leads:
Andrea- a young girl in her 20s who is an aspiring singer struggling to find success on her own- must be able to sing
Eddie- a man in his mid to late 20s who is grieving over his wife is having a hard time picking himself back up and letting in others who clearly want to help.
Bridgette- A woman in her early 20s and Andrea’s best friend who was pushed away at first, but throughout the film, is slowly let back into Andrea’s life.
Tom- A man in his 20s-30s who is Eddie’s brother that wants nothing more than to help him despite being constantly pushed to the side.

Please submit a resume, headshot, and reel. Note that we are accepting applicants without reels or headshots and with possibly a less full resume, we just ask that whatever materials the applicants do have that they submit. as well as a brief cover letter explaining availability as well as ease of Transportation to the Boston North Shore area as well as the Westford area. After that, applicants will receive instructions for scenes to read on camera through a self tape.
