Disney Live Entertainment is seeking submissions for Dancers for Tale of the Lion King, performing at the Disneyland Resort© in Anaheim, CA.
Disneyland’s Fantasyland Theatre comes alive with a vibrant celebration inspired by Disney’s The Lion King. Throughout the day, a traveling troupe of spirited storytellers and African drummers will arrive to celebrate in story, song and dance, inviting everyone to join in.
Performers at the Disneyland Resort are covered by a collective bargaining agreement with the American Guild of Variety Artists. All those auditioning for the roles below must be eligible and willing to join AGVA or be a member in good standing. Roles are available for full-time, part-time, and sub positions.
Seeking:
Black/African-American Dancers who represent all genders, abilities, and types to represent the rich culture and heritage of Africa.
Roles:
DANCER CHORUS – Technically strong dancers. African dance styles a plus. Adept at making an emotional connection with the audience. All abilities, genders and types welcome.
Requirements:
• Performers must be at least 18 and authorized to work in the United States.
Additional Information:
Multiple Featured/Principal and Chorus roles available; the pay range is between $28.30 per hour and $31.42 per hour. Featured/Principal and Chorus roles are defined in the American Guild of Variety Artists (AGVA) Collective Bargaining Agreement.
If selected, must be available for an in person callback audition in Anaheim on July 25th, 2023.
