The show is now casting for the upcoming season and sushi masters that would love a chance to show off their skills and compete are welcome to apply for the 2024 season online.
Masaharu Morimoto, often referred to as “Iron Chef Morimoto,” is a renowned Japanese chef and restaurateur whose culinary talents have made a significant mark on the global food scene. Born on May 26, 1955, in Hiroshima, Japan, Morimoto’s journey in the culinary world began with his training in sushi-making and traditional Japanese cuisine.
His culinary career took a transformative turn when he joined the highly acclaimed TV show “Iron Chef” in Japan, where he earned the nickname “Iron Chef Morimoto” and gained worldwide recognition for his innovative and artistic approach to cooking.
