Disney Lion King Online Open Audition for Kids and Singers to join the Broadway production.
If you are wondering how you can get on a Disney show as a performer or be considered, Disney’s Broadway productions take online video auditions for various shows such as Disney’s Aladdin, The Lion King and Frozen.
Disney “The Lion King” is now holding auditions for kids to be part of the national touring show or the Broadway production and also accepting submissions from general adult singers who would like to join the Disney cast. This is a paid professional theatrical job that pays on a Equity performers contract.
“The Lion King” is one of the most popular productions on the planet and has been seen by over 70 million people worldwide. “The Lion King” is the winner of 6 Tony Awards, including Best Musical. Tony Award winning director Julie Taymor brings to life a story filled with hope and adventure set against an amazing backdrop of stunning visuals.
THE LION KING also features the extraordinary work of Tony Award winning choreographer Garth Fagan and some of Broadway’s most recognizable music, crafted by Tony Award winning international singer/songwriters Elton John and Tim Rice.

YOUNG SIMBA: He/Him. 9 – 12 years old. An African lion cub. Mufasa’s son. A lion cub that eventually becomes the King of the Pridelands. Looking for a young actor/singer with natural talent, charm, and charisma. Actor must move well and hold the stage on his own with confidence and truth. ACTOR MUST BE UNDER 58 INCHES.
YOUNG NALA: She/Her. 9 – 12 years old. An African lion cub. She eventually becomes the Queen of the Pridelands. She keeps Simba in his place. Looking for a young actor/singer with natural talent, charm, and charisma. Actor must move well and hold the stage on her own with confidence and truth. ACTOR MUST BE UNDER 58 INCHES.

Disney Theatrical is seeking future replacements for Young Simba and Young Nala for Broadway and the North American Tour. Minimum weekly salary is $2,323.00*.
