New Comedy TV Show “Clean Slate” holding an open call in the Savannah, Georgia area.
Clean Slate stars Laverne Cox and George Wallace. The show is about to begin production in Savannah and is holding an open casting call for folks local to the Savannah and surrounding areas who would like to work on set as paid background actors.
According to the show’s IMDB page the show is about Henry (Wallace), an old-school and outspoken car wash owner, is thrilled his estranged child is finally returning home to Alabama after 17 years. However, Henry has a lot of soul searching to do when the child he thought was a son returns as the determined, proud, trans woman, Desiree (Cox).

We accepting submissions from mothers who currently have an infant between 10-18 months OR photograph submissions of mother and baby preferably taken in the 70s-early 90s.
We will either be using a preexisting photograph or holding a still photo shoot.

Hello Savannah!
We are now casting extras and stand ins for Norman Lear’s new comedy series, Clean Slate!
We are looking for all ages and ethnicities on this project!
We will begin shooting 3/27 through Mid May (M-F)!
GENERAL BG RATE: $140/12hr
$140 guaranteed for the shoot date- most days are expected to be between 8-10 hours.
If the shoot happens to go over 12 hours overtime will be granted at time and a half.
All minor’s must have a valid GDOL Minor’s in Entertainment permit- this can easily be obtained in 1-2 business days via the GDOL website at no cost.
