Get cast in a small role on “Cobra Kai.”
Streaming service Netflix has ordered a new season of the Karate Kid spin-off series Cobra Kai.
The new season of the show is now in production in the Atlanta area and there are casting calls out for paid background extras in the ATL area. The show is now on Netflix and season 6 of “Cobra Kai” will be filming episodes this spring and summer of 2023.
“Cobra Kai” is a arts comedy-drama. The Karate Kid based show first appeared on YouTube Red in 2018 and later moved to Netflix. It is a continuation of the iconic “Karate Kid” film series, featuring the original stars Ralph Macchio and William Zabka reprising their roles as Daniel LaRusso and Johnny Lawrence. The series follows the reopening of the Cobra Kai dojo by Johnny, who seeks redemption by training a new generation of students, including the bullied teenager Miguel Diaz. The show brilliantly portrays the complexities of life and the struggles of growing up, while also featuring thrilling fight scenes and nostalgia-inducing callbacks to the original films. With its captivating storytelling and charismatic performances, “Cobra Kai” has become a beloved hit among both new and old fans of “Karate Kid.”
NOW CASTING PAID FEMALE AND MALE EXTRAS, AGES 16+ for a new Asian Karate Group (Dojo) for COBRA KAI Season 6 on Netflix filming in Atlanta, GA.
This core group will shoot various dates throughout the season with the first date being May 11, 2023 so you must have open availability.
