We’re thrilled to invite you to audition for and be part of the production of “Twisted Blind,” a powerful narrative based on real-life situations. Here’s what we’re looking for:
• Malika (Lead Character)
Description:
A curvy, caramel-skinned African American woman in her 30s, Malika is a dedicated professional photographer. She’s strong-willed, emotionally guarded, and rebuilding after a broken engagement.
•Tiffany (Supporting character)
Description:
A light-skinned, slim African American woman in her late 20s, Tiffany is Malika’s vivacious and humorous friend. She’s a free spirit, always ready for fun, and is Malika’s confidante.
•Linda Johnson (Supporting character)
Description:
A fit and attractive African American woman in her late 40s, Linda is Malika’s caring mother. She’s wise, supportive, and provides guidance to her daughter.
•Willie Johnson (Supporting character)
Description:
A handsome and healthy African American man in his early 50s, Willie is Malika’s father. He’s supportive and tries to express his love, but circumstances lead to a misunderstanding.
Additional roles:
Extra couple for photoshoot scene:
We’re looking for a man and a woman to portray a lovely couple for a photoshoot.
Four extras for restaurant scenes:
We need four additional actors for various roles in restaurant scenes.
