Immersive International – Open Air Flight Experience

Project Description:
The “Open-Air Flight Experience” takes visitors back in time and into the air in World War I (WWI) aircraft to experience realistic aviation scenarios. This media piece will convey the challenges and realities of flying early combat aircraft through the sights, sounds, and actions that pilots would have experienced at the time.
Shoot Location:
Albany, NY – Old Rhinebeck Aerodrome
Shoot Dates (TBC):
May 24 – 31 2024 (3 day shoot)
Each talent likely needed for only 1-2x days of shooting.
Talent Requirements:
2x Male actors – see details below. All filming that involves actors will take place on the ground. Actors will NOT be in the aircraft in the air. All stunts will be performed by pilots.
TALENT 1: German Pilot #1 & Royal Air Force Pilot #1
Age Appearance: Late Teens – Early 20s
Ethnicity: Caucasian
Preferred features: Slim build, height from 5”2-5”7. We will be looking for actors of below average height and weight due to historically accurate costuming considerations.
Special Skills: Does not require any stunt work or special skills.
TALENT 2: Royal Air Force Observer #1 & American Pilot #1
Preferred features: Slim build, height from 5”2-5”7
Gender: Male
Age Appearance: Late Teens – Early 20s
Ethnicity: Caucasian
Preferred features: Slim build, height from 5”2-5”7. We will be looking for actors of below average height and weight due to historically accurate costuming considerations.
