Extras in New York and New Jersey for Movie “History of Sound”
Upcoming movie “The History of Sound” is filming in the New York / New Jersey area this winter and spring. According to the movie’s IMDB page, the story revolves around two young men during World War I, who set out to record the lives, voices and music of their American countrymen.
The History of Sound is being directed by Oliver Hermanus and written by Ben Shattuck. The film stars “The Crown” actor and Emmy winner Josh O’Connor alongside Paul Mescal as the young men setting out on a romantic journey.

You must be ok working interior and exterior, have no allergies to wool, be ok with a period appropriate haircut and facial hair (if needed/applicable), and be ok working around smoke.
Everyone cast will need to attend a costume fitting in NJ prior to the shoot date.
Pay rate: SAG Rate $208/8hrs. **Height, weight, and clothing sizes are used for costuming purposes only, unless needed for the casting of stand-ins or photo doubles. This background performer role is covered by a SAG-AFTRA CBA and subject to a Preference of Employment provision. Please note, you must be able to present valid identification to fill out a Federal I9 form and be paid.
