Normal Not is a drama-filled limited mini-series based on the Bank family who have had their share of problems. This series will address some everyday issues that keep most families from getting to a place of peace and resolution.

Series Info: We will be shooting the pilot in mid-February.

Casting for the following roles:

Shooting Location: Chicago’s inner city and surrounding areas.

  • Martha (Late 40s to early 50s) is an African American woman who once lived with so much regret and now vows to allow her faith to help her push past the pain of betrayal and bring her family back together.
  • Hailey (29-30) is an African American woman who tends to mask her problems by making excuses for her bad relationships and life decisions.
  • Jessie (27-28) is an African American man who tends to shy away from his family issues, but by all means, he speaks his mind.
  • Destine (25-26) is an African American woman who once ran a successful business with her husband; who later turned into a bitter alcoholic due to infidelity in her marriage.
  • Lacey (22-24) is an African American woman who disassociates herself from her family due to past hurt and has a chip on her shoulder.
