The Madison County Arts Council announced their production of “Disney’s Beauty and the Beast.”
The production will be performed at the Joyce Hildebrand Auditorium in London High School, running from July 18-21.
The Madison County Arts Council invites talented individuals, kids ages 8 and up to audition for their production of Disney’s “Beauty and the Beast.”
“Beauty and the Beast” is a timeless tale of love, acceptance, and transformation. The story follows Belle, a smart and independent young woman, who becomes imprisoned in a castle by a cursed prince who is transformed into a beast. Despite their initial differences, Belle and the Beast form an unlikely bond as they discover the true beauty lies within.
Auditions:
Auditions will take place on May 1-2 at The Brennan Loft, located at 158 S. Main St., London, starting at 6 p.m. Please note, you only need to attend one of the audition dates.

The production states that those that will be auditioning should be prepared for cold readings from the script and a brief dance audition.
Additionally, they are asking that auditionees prepare 16 to 32 bars of a song in the musical theater style. An accompanist will be provided, so bring sheet music with piano and vocal lines clearly marked. No a cappella singing or tracks will be permitted.
Callbacks, if necessary, will be held on May 3 at 6 p.m. at The Brennan Loft.
