Open Casting Call in Texas for TCU Students for Taylor Sheridan’s (Yellowstone) New Project “Land Man”

Yellowstone creator Taylor Sheridan casting paid background actors for his new Paramount+ show, “Land Man.”

The show is in production in Texas and Legacy has an extras casting call out for Texas students at TCU (Fort Worth, Texas) for a scene that will be filming in mid February, 2024. The Paramount+ show has no set premier date as of yet.

Billy Bob Thornton stars in a new television series from “Yellowstone” creator Taylor Sheridan. The new series is filming in Texas and is based on a podcast that is called “Boomtown.”

The casting team at Legacy has stated that filming will take place February 15th, and the production team “would love for REAL students/alumni to be in attendance.” And everyone who shows up is asked to “wear all of your TCU gear for this scene!”

Billy Bob Thornton stars as a character named Tommy Norris in “Land Man.” Norris is an employee of a big oil company whose role is crisis management. Michelle Randolph, known for her role in Sheridan’s “1923,” steps into the character of Ainsley Norris. Ainsley is vividly portrayed as Tommy’s spirited and resilient 17-year-old daughter, adding a layer of complexity to the storyline.

Jacob Lofland, recognized for his role in “12 Mighty Orphans,” takes on the character of Cooper Norris. As a character navigating the demanding world of oil and gas fields in West Texas, Cooper’s journey provides an insightful glimpse into the challenges and growth within this vibrant and ever-changing landscape.
