Paid Extras to Play “Walkers” on TWD: Dead City Season 2 in Boston, MA

Want to be a “Walker” on the newest iteration of the “Walking Dead” franchise of TV shows, “The Walking Dead: Dead City?”

A Boston, Massachusetts casting agency is on the lookout for background actors to join the upcoming season of “The Walking Dead: Dead City Season 2,” scheduled to film in Boston this year.

The casting team is in search of individuals from diverse backgrounds and of all ages residing in the Boston area to take on roles such as walkers, soldiers, post-apocalyptic survivors, and various other extras throughout the filming of “The Walking Dead: Dead City Season 2.

Casting directors with Kendall Cooper are specifically seeking individuals with athletic backgrounds or military experience to portray soldiers, as well as those with rugged appearances to depict survivors in the post-apocalyptic world.

 

 

According to the local news outlet, KC Casting is also in need of tall thin people in the area to play the iconic “walkers.” Seems that the show will be filming at The former Reed & Barton factory site at 144 West Britannia St. and The Whittenton Mills Complex at 437 Whittenton St.

Filming for the production will take place in Boston area from April to July 2024.

The casting team is looking for people of all ages and ethnicities local to the Boston area to portray walkers, soldiers, post apocalyptic survivors, and various other extra roles throughout the season. Specifically seeking athletes and people with military or law enforcement experience to play soldiers. Also seeking capable people with weathered faces to play survivors in the apocalypse. Also looking for people who are very thin, tall and have flexible/available schedules to play walkers.

Be prepared to include three current photos of yourself which clearly show your current hair length/style/facial hair (if applicable). One current close up photo and two current full body photos. NO hats, NO sunglasses, NO masks, NO filters. These should not be professional photos. These need to be clear photos which accurately show what you look like today. Please remember this is a post apocalyptic show; make sure your submission photos have a natural look, little or no make-up to reflect the tone of the show.

Some extra roles will work 1 or 2 days of filming, while others will be recurring throughout the season. Filming will generally takes place Monday-Friday and will be a 12+ hour commitment for each day of work. All extra work and fittings are paid. Seeking SAG and Non-Union talent. Local hire only, no travel or housing provided.
