I am creating an animated series called “The Meerkat Bunch”. The main characters are Ginger, Sunny, Omar and Tulip. This is an interactive preschool show for Cartoon Network’s preschool block Cartoonito. The 3 meerkats were from the Backyardigans pilot “Me and My Friends”. The new purple meerkat I created is Tulip.
This is also the loving memory of Janice Burgess, the creator of The Backyardigans and Me and My Friends (1952-2024).
I’ll try a way to pitch the show to Nelvana and Cartoon Network’s preschool block Cartoonito.
