Rate: $249/day.
Local hire only — must be based in or able to work as a local in Key West, FL. No travel or lodging provided.

ROLES

DAVE
Gender: Male, 30s–50s. Any ethnicity. Local historian and paranormal enthusiast who becomes the group’s reluctant “expert.” Equal parts cowardly
and wise, with a love of rum and ghost gadgets. Offers comic relief and exposition. Character actor; expressive, grounded. humor.

EXEKIEL
Gender: Male 20s–40s. African American. The resurrected spirit of a freedman who perished off
Key West in the 1800s. Towering presence, stoic and tragic.
Commands supernatural strength and gravitas. Physically imposing;
presence over dialogue.

BARBARA
Gender: Female 60s–80s. Caucasian. Former lighthouse keeper, now a spectral guardian. Stern, maternal,
protective of the living. Minimal stunts; delivers emotional wisdom and ghostly authority. Moderate stunt and choreographed fight sequences typical for a horror-comedy involving pirate swordplay and light physical comedy. All stunts and fight choreography will be overseen by qualified Stunt Coordinator. No hazardous or high-impact stunt work. No firearms, blanks, or live ammunition. All weapons will be rubber or dulled metal props and handled under supervision of the stunt coordinator.

ERNESTO
Gender: Male, 40s–60s. Hispanic. Description: Cuban-American city councilman caught between developers and locals. Out for personal gain. Dramatic realism amidst the chaos. Must know how to swim.

DESIREE
Gender: Male/Female (in drag) 25–50s or so. Any ethnicity.
Description: Tall, glamorous drag performer at a Key West club. Fearless, funny, magnetic. Must be comfortable performing in drag; physicality and comic energy required.

CHELSEA – Female, 20s–30s
A haunted tour guide with high energy and great storytelling instincts. Funny, dramatic, and sells every ghost story with flair.

STELLA – Female, 60s–70s
Local activist for “Save Houseboat Row.” Eccentric, outspoken, and determined to make her cause known, even in the middle of chaos.

BETH – Female, 20s–50s
High-strung and paranoid. Overreacts to everything, providing comedic panic in one memorable scene.

DEB – Female, 20s–50s
Down-to-earth and practical, brings a warm, no-nonsense presence to a tense situation.

KING & PIERCE – Males, 20s–40s
Best friends and tourists visiting Key West, laid-back bros with comedic chemistry and a touch of action. Loyal, fun, and slightly out of their depth when the supernatural hits.

KYLE & BRAD – Males, 30s–50s
Beach bros with small but funny moments, local flavor and comic energy.

DELILAH – Female, 30s–60s
A homeless woman who becomes possessed by dark forces. Must convey vulnerability, terror, and transformation.

POLICE OFFICER – Any gender, 30s–50s
Straightforward and professional, responds to chaos with disbelief and irritation. if you have your own uniform, please advise.

MAN ON BEACH – Male, 20s–50s
Simple one-liner role. Observant or comedic beachgoer moment.
