Actresses Sought for Historical Drama Based on the Life of Charlotte Dacre

Casting now for a compelling short film based on the dramatic and tumultuous life of pioneering feminist author Charlotte Dacre, inspired by events depicted in her semi-autobiographical novels.

The production is seeking two Caucasian actresses to portray the film’s central characters:

  • Charlotte Dacre – A trailblazing writer turned vengeful after a personal betrayal, whose pursuit of retribution leads her down a dark and consuming path.
  • Madame de Hautville – Charlotte’s enigmatic mentor, who ultimately becomes her ideological adversary as their mission spirals into moral conflict.

The film will explore themes of passion, power, and the price of vengeance, set against a historically inspired backdrop. This is a paid opportunity with a rate of $150 per day, and will shoot on Saturday, June 28, 2025.
