Valley Performing Arts Announces Open Auditions for “The Rocky Horror Show”
Prescott Valley Performing Arts is inviting local performers to “do the time warp again” with the return of its annual fan-favorite, The Rocky Horror Show. This cult classic rock musical is set to hit the Main Street Theatre stage this October, and open auditions will be held later this month for anyone daring enough to join the outrageous fun.
Audition Information:
Dates: Monday, August 25 & Tuesday, August 26, 2025
Time: 7:30 PM (attend one night only)
Location: Main Street Theatre, 3235 N. Main Street, Prescott Valley, AZ 86314
No appointment necessary.
Auditions are open to performers 18 and older. No need to pre-register—just arrive ready to show off your voice, energy, and charisma.
What to Prepare:
Sing 32 bars of a song in the spirit of Rocky Horror—think glam rock, punk, or musical theater with edge and personality. A full verse and chorus are also acceptable.
Bring your own backing track (a Bluetooth speaker will be provided), or perform a cappella.
Be prepared to cold read selected scenes from the script.
Rehearsal Schedule:
Rehearsals begin September 2 and run Monday through Thursday, from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM. – Starting September 2nd and performances will be October 24, 25, 30, and 31 with both a 7pm and midnight show on Halloween.
Performance Dates:
October 24, 25, 30, and 31
Halloween Night (October 31) will feature two performances: one at 7:00 PM and another at midnight.
