Disney Cruise Line Announces Mainstage Dancer Auditions in Philadelphia.
Disney Cruise Line® is setting sail in search of talented dancers to join its world-class repertory company of performers for upcoming theatrical productions at sea.
Auditions will be held in Philadelphia on Monday, June 30, 2025, at 10:00 AM – Please note that the auditions will be held in person and are by appointment only. All wishing to audition for Disney must reserve an audition slot. Those appointments fill up quickly.
Disney Cruise Line is renowned for delivering Broadway-caliber musical theatre productions aboard its fleet, including celebrated shows like The Tale of Moana, Beauty and the Beast, Tangled: The Musical, and Aladdin – A Musical Spectacular. This is a unique opportunity to bring Disney magic to life on the high seas through music, movement, and storytelling.
Disney Cruises is Seeking:
The casting team is seeking diverse, highly trained dancers with strong foundations in ballet and jazz. Some roles also require skills in tumbling and/or tap. Performers will be part of a repertory company performing a variety of full-scale productions, with casting designed to reflect inclusive, multicultural storytelling.
Rehearsals & Contracts:
Rehearsals will take place in Toronto, Canada, followed by a 6-month performance contract onboard one of Disney’s cruise ships.
On your audition day, they provide some tips and guidelines which include:
- Please arrive on time as indicated in your confirmation email. Location details for the audition will also be included in that email.
- Be prepared to showcase a variety of dance styles, including tap. All participants should wear appropriate dance or athletic attire. You may be asked to change footwear during the audition, and female-presenting dancers should be prepared to dance in heels.
- All auditioning performers must be at least 18 years old.
Auditions will be held by appointment only in the Philadelphia, PA area.
