Acclaimed director, choreographer, and producer Debbie Allen is set to both direct and produce this new project, which will begin filming in the Atlanta, GA area starting June 23, 2025.
The project is currently in pre-production, but the team at Central Casting Georgia is looking ahead and actively seeking background actors to help bring the vibrant, authentic atmosphere of an HBCU campus to life. While the pilot remains untitled, it promises to be a dynamic and meaningful portrayal of student life and culture at America’s HBCUs.
Central is seeking people in Atlanta:

All genders
Must be able to portray African American college students
This is a paid background opportunity, and filming will take place in and around Atlanta. Individuals with a youthful college appearance, energetic presence, and a passion for storytelling that reflects the Black college experience are highly encouraged to apply.
