THE NEW YORK TIMES’ WORLDWIDE PUZZLE SENSATION, WORDLE, IS CASTING FOR A GAME SHOW!
Audition to be a contestant on Wordle game show. That’s right, the New York Times’ global puzzle phenomenon Wordle is taking a new step from the digital world to the television screen. What began as a simple daily word puzzle shared between friends has grown into a cultural staple enjoyed by millions worldwide. Now, Wordle is leveling up with its very own game show, and casting is now open, nationwide.
The new Wordle game show aims to bring the puzzle’s familiar blend of logic, deduction, and wordplay to a TV format. Just like the online version, strategy and teamwork will play a major role, but this time players will face the challenge together, on set, and in front of a global audience. Instead of solving solo on a phone or laptop, contestants will collaborate in real time as they race against the clock and other teams to decode mystery words.
Casting directors are looking for teams of three players who share a love of word games and strong group chemistry. Furthermore, teams may consist of friends, family members, couples, co-workers, or any trio with with enthusiasm for puzzles.
See our Game Show Auditions Pages for more game shows to apply to get on.

Selected teams will have the opportunity to travel to Europe for a five to seven day filming period in early 2026. Every team will compete for the chance to win a major cash prize.
