By | August 10, 2025

Three Rivers Music Theatre Auditions for Rock Musical HAIR.

Three Rivers Music Theatre in Fort Wayne, IN, is bringing the revolutionary 1960s rock musical HAIR to the stage — and they’re looking for bold, passionate performers to join the cast. Directed and musically directed by Andy Planck, with choreography by Jakob Michael, the production promises to be a raw, unapologetic celebration of love, freedom, and rebellion.

Set against the backdrop of the Vietnam War and the counterculture movement, HAIR follows a “tribe” of young people navigating identity, community, protest, and passion. Featuring iconic hits like “Aquarius,” “Let the Sunshine In,” and “Good Morning Starshine,” the musical defined a generation and still resonates today.

Important Casting Details:

Performers must be 18+ by the first rehearsal due to mature content and themes.

Nudity Note: The traditional brief nude scene at the end of Act I is optional for this production. The moment will be handled with the guidance of an intimacy choreographer, and choosing not to participate will not affect casting decisions.
