Casting Call Announced for “Grit & Glamour” Immersive Experience in Houston
Houston performers are invited to bring their flair and energy to Grit & Glamour, an immersive, 1930s-inspired experience blending live scenes, character-driven storytelling, and a vibrant atmosphere of fantasy and fun.
The event takes place on December 13, 2025, and producers are seeking charismatic talent to embody iconic, larger-than-life characters. From smooth-talking hustlers to bold and unforgettable personalities, the production promises a night of grit, glamour, and pure entertainment.
Roles Being Cast
The creative team is looking for performers who can channel the essence of:
- Sugar Ray – Smooth and strategic, inspired by Richard Pryor
- Quick – Fast-talking and flashy, in the spirit of Eddie Murphy
- Vera – Bold, hilarious, and unforgettable, like Della Reese
- Sunshine – Sultry and mesmerizing, reminiscent of Lela Rochon
- Benny – Witty and cool, à la Redd Foxx
- Dominique La Rue – Elegant yet dangerous, like Jasmine Guy
- Bugsy Calhoune – Loud, commanding, and bossed-up, inspired by Michael Lerner
- Phil Cantone – Wild, animated, and unhinged, in the vein of Danny Aiello
