Wild Horse Children’s Theatre Announces Auditions for Beetlejuice Jr. in Carson City
Wild Horse Children’s Theatre is excited to announce open auditions for their upcoming production of Beetlejuice Jr. — a spooky, hilarious, and high-energy musical based on the cult classic film and Broadway smash hit.
Auditions are open to kids and teens ages 10 to 18, and will be held by appointment only at the Brewery Arts Center Performance Hall, located at 511 W. King Street in Carson City.
Audition Schedule:
Wednesday, August 20 – 4:30 PM – 7:30 PM
Friday, August 22 – 4:30 PM – 7:30 PM
Callbacks (by invitation only): Saturday, August 23 – 8:00 AM – 12:00 PM
Rehearsals
Rehearsals begin Thursday, August 28, and will take place on Wednesdays and Thursdays from 4:15 PM to 6:30 PM
(Note: There will be no rehearsal on Wednesday, August 27)
Performance Dates
December 5, 6, 7 and December 12, 13, 14
About the Show
Get ready for a hauntingly good time. Beetlejuice Jr. follows Lydia Deetz, a strange and unusual teenager still grieving the loss of her mother. When her family moves into a new home haunted by the recently deceased Maitlands—and the outrageous, mischievous demon Beetlejuice—Lydia finds herself caught between the living and the dead. What unfolds is a madcap adventure full of ghoulish fun, wild surprises, and big musical numbers.
With offbeat humor, lovable oddballs, and catchy songs, this show promises a frightfully fun experience for young performers and audiences alike.
