Movie titled “Keychain” is now filming in the New York City area and seeking area locals who play baseball.
The feature film “Keychain” is currently filming in the New York City area, and Grant Wilfley Casting is looking for local baseball players to work as paid background performers. The production is seeking people with real baseball experience who can convincingly portray players on screen.
The tentative filming dates for the baseball player roles are Wednesday, August 19, and/or Friday, August 21, 2026, with scenes expected to film in Queens, New York, potentially during evening and nighttime hours. The listed SAG-AFTRA rate is $241 for an eight-hour day.
“Keychain” is a theatrical feature film that has been filming throughout the New York area and has used locations connected to Major League Baseball, including Citi Field in Queens.
Grant Wilfley Casting is handling background casting for the production. New York area baseball players who are available for the tentative August dates and meet the requirements are encouraged to submit for consideration.
