Casting Call: BET’s “The Ms. Pat Show” – Now in Production in Georgia
The BET+ series Ms. Pat is officially in production for its 2027 season in the Atlanta area, and casting directors are seeking locals to work as paid extras and background actors on set. Filming will take place in and around Atlanta, Georgia.
About the Show:
Ms. Pat is a comedy series based on the real-life story of stand-up comedian and author Patricia “Ms. Pat” Williams. The series follows Ms. Pat’s journey from a challenging past as a former convicted felon to her present life as a suburban mom and successful comedian living in Indianapolis. Tackling themes like race, poverty, and addiction with honesty, humor, and heart, Ms. Pat delivers a mix of sharp wit and deeply resonant moments.
BET+’s show stars Ms. Pat as herself, along with J. Bernard Calloway as her husband, Tami Roman as her best friend, and Theodore Barnes as her son. Since its debut in 2021, Ms. Pat has been celebrated for its bold and unapologetic storytelling, offering a compelling mix of humor and social commentary.

NOW CASTING: EXPERIENCED STAND-INS FOR THE MS. PAT SHOW – SEASON 6
Hylton Casting is currently accepting submissions for experienced stand-ins to work on Season 6 of The Ms. Pat Show, filming in Doraville, Georgia.
We are seeking Black/African American men and women, ages 18 and older, to work as core stand-ins throughout the season for the lead cast members.
Stand-ins may be hired to:
- Work as a primary cast stand-in
- Serve as a utility stand-in
- Assist with lighting, camera, and rehearsal setups
Previous stand-in experience is preferred.
Filming Dates: June–August 2026
Location: Doraville, GA
Rate: $120/8 hours
