CBS Soap “Beyond The Gates” Casting Call for Extras in Atlanta

Daytime Soap “Beyond The Gates” Seeks Atlanta Locals to work on set.

If you live in the Atlanta area, here is a chance. The CBS daytime soap opera is coming back with a new season. The Soap will be filming new episodes this fall and the production is in need of ATL locals who would like to work on set to fill various, small, paid roles.

Production of Beyond The Gates, for the 2027 season is now filming.

According to CBS, The new season of “Beyond The Gates” may have a few new cast members.

The cast includes Tamara Tunie as Anita Dupree, Clifton Davis as Vernon Dupree, Karla Mosley as Dani Dupree, Daphnee Duplaix as Nicole Dupree Richardson, Brandon Claybon as Martin Richardson, Timon Kyle Durrett as Bill Hamilton, Sean Freeman as Andre Hamilton, Marquita Goings as Hayley Lawson, Mike Manning as Smitty Smith, Arielle Prepetit as Naomi Hamilton Hawthorne, Jibre Hordges as Jacob Hawthorne, Lauren Buglioli as Vanessa McBride, Jon Lindstrom as Joey Armstrong and Keith D. Robinson as Ted Richardson. Other regular cast members include RhonniRose Mantilla, Colby Nixon, Jen Jacob, Alex Alegria, Trisha Mann-Grant, Ambyr Michelle and Lami.

There have also been several casting developments. Ashley Jones joined the soap in 2026, although details about her character were initially kept under wraps. Denzell Dandridge and Khiry Walker were also announced as new additions connected to the Johnson family.

The upcoming season is now in production and will most likely premiere this fall.

As we enter a new season, we’re excited to open submissions and welcome some NEW FACES into the Beyond the Gates family.

No need to apply again — WE HAVE YOU! Your information is already in our system, and you will continue to be considered for appropriate background roles throughout the season.

THIS OPEN CALL IS SPECIFICALLY FOR NEW TALENT WHO HAVE NOT PREVIOUSLY WORKED ON THE SHOW.
We’re looking for professional, dependable and flexible individuals who understand the commitment and professionalism required when working on a daytime television series.

CURRENTLY SEEKING NEW FACES:

BG WITH WAITSTAFF/BARTENDING EXPERIENCE
Seeking individuals with actual experience working as bartenders, servers, waitstaff or in upscale hospitality environments.

BG WITH FORMAL/UPSCALE WARDROBE
Seeking individuals who own a variety of polished, upscale and formal wardrobe appropriate for scenes taking place within the affluent world of Beyond the Gates.

BG WITH DISTINCTIVE/CHARACTER LOOKS
We’re also seeking a variety of distinctive and interesting looks to help us continue building the world and different environments of the show.
Individuals of all backgrounds, ages, genders, body types and appearances are encouraged to submit. Specific casting selections will be based on the requirements of each scene and role.

FILMING: Doraville, GA and surrounding areas

LOCAL HIRE ONLY: No travel or housing provided.
Filming generally takes place Monday–Friday, and shoot days may be 12+ hours, so flexible weekday availability is important.

Background actors are selected based on the specific creative and production needs of each scene. Many of our background roles and groups recur throughout the season, so once those groups are established, we may not reopen general submissions for new faces until there is another casting need.

PAID BACKGROUND WORK
Compensation varies depending on the specific background role booked. Rate and applicable booking details will be provided and confirmed prior to accepting the booking. Required fittings, when applicable, will be paid in accordance with production terms.
