Golden State Warriors Dance Team Auditions – Cheerleader auditions for NBA team.
The Golden State Warriors are officially searching for new performers for the 2026–27 NBA season, with auditions now open for the team’s popular entertainment groups. The audition process will take place across the Bay Area from July through early August and includes opportunities to join the Warriors Dance Team.

Performers interested in joining the Warriors Dance Team must submit an online application by Sunday, July 12.
Details:
Applicants are required to turn in a completed application, headshot, signed waiver, choreography video, and introduction video in order to move forward in the audition process. Videos will be reviewed by Warriors staff and judges based on dance technique, athleticism, performance quality, execution, and stage presence.
Finalists selected from the first round will advance to in-person group interviews on July 27 in Oakland, followed by a bootcamp rehearsal on July 29 in Walnut Creek. The final audition round is scheduled for August 9 in San Francisco and will include choreography performances and solo routines.

Golden State Warriors Announce 2026-27 Dance Team Auditions.
The NBA team will be conducting auditions for cheerleaders, dance squads and more in July and August 2025.
- The Golden State Warriors are gearing up for another electrifying NBA season by launching auditions for their acclaimed Entertainment Teams, which include the Warriors Dance Team, Blue Crew, Hardwood Classics, and Jr. Jam Squad. Auditions will span a three-week period from July 13 to August 3, 2025, and aspiring performers are invited to register and learn more at warriors.com/danceteam.
- Online audition applications must be submitted to audition for the Warriors Dance Team. Applications must be submitted no later than Sunday, July 12th – 11:59 PM PST. In order to be eligible to receive the choreography links for the first round of the audition process, you must submit an application, headshot and signed waiver.
- Candidates are required to submit their choreography and introduction videos by this date. All videos will be evaluated by Golden State Warriors staff/judges for technical dance ability, power, athleticism, execution of choreography, and performance skills. Videos are due by Sunday, July 19th – 11:59 PM PST.
- July 27 – In-Person Group Interviews in Oakland
Finalist candidates will take part in interviews with Warriors Dance Team Coaches and a panel of judges between 2:00-10:00pm in Oakland. - July 29 – In-Person Bootcamp Rehearsal
Finalist candidates will receive an email with detailed information on the next steps of the audition process. Rehearsal will be tentatively held from 7:30-11:00pm in Walnut Creek. After July 29th, a Final Cut may be made at the discretion of the Coaching Staff. - August 9 – Final Audition
Final Auditions will include performing the Round 1 and Semi-Finals routines as well as individual solos. More details will be discussed with dance team finalists. Final Auditions will be held in-person in San Francisco.
Audition applications are due by 11:59 p.m. on Sunday, July 12.
