Unaccustomed Earth is an eight-episode dramatic adaptation of Jhumpa Lahiri’s critically acclaimed short story collection. The project is executive produced and showrun by John Wells, with Madhuri Shekar writing and Nisha Ganatra directing the pilot. Jhumpa Lahiri serves as executive producer and ensures the adaptation retains its emotional depth and authenticity. Freida Pinto stars in the lead role of Parul Chaudhury.
