New York Area Cast Call for Fathers & Sons, Mentors

Seeking fathers, & sons as well as father figures in greater NYC area.

The show is a vertical unscripted microseries.  It will be filmed in the NYC area and explores the relationships between fathers, father figures, and the boys or men they helped raise.

Producers and casting directors for the show are seeking authentic pairs from all backgrounds. The list includes biological fathers and sons, dads raising preteen or teen boys, veteran families, grandfathers who stepped in to raise children, formerly incarcerated sons reconnecting with their fathers, recovery sponsor relationships, and chosen family connections such as mentors, coaches, or community leaders.

Casting Notice:

NOW CASTING a new vertical unscripted micro-series exploring the relationships between fathers, father figures, and the men or boys they helped raise told through hands-on challenges, teamwork, and real conversations.

Each episode brings a duo together to build, learn and reconnect by blending craftsmanship, emotional storytelling, and cross-generational connection.

We’re seeking real pairs and real stories across all backgrounds to highlight these relationships while coming together to build something and talk about achievements, struggles and the moments that shaped them.

We’re especially interested in:

  •  Biological fathers & sons
  • Fathers raising preteen and teen boys
  • Veteran fathers & sons
  • Grandfathers who raised sons or grandsons
  • Formerly incarcerated sons & their fathers
  • Recovery sponsor & sponsee relationships
  • Chosen family such as mentors, coaches, and community leaders

We’re looking for duos who are comfortable being hands-on, curious about what masculinity looks like today, and open to showing up together.

One-day shoot commitment
Tri-state area preferred (within 2 hours of New York)
