Seems that the show will be coming back and if you live in the Southern California area, you have a shot to audition to be on the show.
The upcoming FOX network production Baywatch have announced that an open casting call is coming to Southern California. Fremantle and FOX are inviting actors who believe they could be a strong fit for the series to attend and be seen.
The iconic lifeguard drama is returning.
The show is beginning production in 2026 and along with it come new storylines and high-stakes rescues. The iconic series is set along the beaches of Southern California. So, of course the upcoming open auditions / casting event, will also be held at an iconic Southern California beach.
The production is searching for a wide range of roles, including lifeguards, beachgoers, bartenders, friends, love interests, rescuers, and those in need of rescue.
Actors 18 and older are encouraged to come Baywatch ready for the chance to audition for roles that may range from series regulars and major recurring characters to guest appearances.

What to Wear to the audition:
This is “Bay Watch” – those interested should bring some “suitable beach attire” with them. This event is being held in February. February is hardly bikini time. Those attending may not want to spend early morning in a bathing suit on the beach. Furthermore, the Los Angeles area casting call wants everyone to come “Baywatch Ready” – But, pretty sure folks can get “Baywatch ready” in the parking lot.

Baywatch is looking for a wide range of possible roles, from lifeguards to beachgoers, bartenders and buddies to love interests, rescuers and rescuees of all kinds. Actors aged 18+ are invited to come “Baywatch Ready” in the hopes of securing an opportunity to audition for potential roles ranging from series regulars to major recurring characters to guest roles.
