Open Auditions in Atladena, California for multiple shows – Musical Theater.

The shows are “Grease” and “Little Shop of Horrors

These are paid roles, please see the information below for actor / performer contract details.

Performers in the Los Angeles area have a chance to audition for two well-known stage productions with upcoming runs in Altadena.

Open calls and Equity auditions are set to take place throughout late April and early May in Pasadena and North Hollywood.

The productions, Grease and Little Shop of Horrors, are offering both union and non-union opportunities.

Equity performers will receive $720 per week under AEA contracts, while non-union talent will be paid a $1500 stipend for the duration of the run. No housing will be provided, so the opportunity is best suited for local performers or those able to work as locals.

Not in the Los Angeles area? See our theater pages to see what other auditions are happening in other areas.

Open auditions will be held on April 22 from 5 to 10 pm at Westminster Presbyterian Church in Pasadena. Performers are asked to park in the lot and enter through the office, where signage will guide them to the music room for sign-in and auditions. Principal auditions for union performers will follow on April 27 and April 29 at Actors Equity Association in North Hollywood.

A separate dance call is scheduled for May 2 at Pasadena Dance Theatre, with sign-ups beginning at 3:30 pm and auditions starting at 4 pm. Some dancers may be asked to sing, so performers should come prepared with 16 to 32 bars of music in the style of the show, along with a current photo and resume.

Callbacks for Grease are scheduled for May 3, while Little Shop of Horrors callbacks will take place on May 6, both by invitation only.

Rehearsals and performance schedules differ slightly between the two productions.
