Be part of a major feature film production!
An Ang Lee directed movie is gearing up to shoot in Northern California, and casting is now underway for local talent to step into the world of the Gold Rush.
Gold Mountain, directed by Ang Lee, is holding an open call for paid background actors in Sacramento.
The casting call will take place on Sunday, April 26 from 11 am to 6 pm at Coloma Community Center. No appointment is needed, and those interested can show up during the scheduled hours. Filming is set to take place in and around the Sacramento area from May 18 through June 5. Because of the period setting, selected extras must not have visible tattoos, dyed hair, or facial piercings that would take away from the historical look.
Casting is being handled by Nina Henninger and Sarah Kliban, both CSA, as the production begins building its background ensemble for the upcoming shoot.
