NYC – background actors needed.
Get a job as a paid movie extra in New York City. Available roles are to portray audience members at an indie rock and pop music venue for the upcoming feature film FUNNY STRANGE, starring Cailee Spaeny and Drew Starkey. Casting for SAG and non union men and women in their 20s to 30s of all ethnicities who fit a cool NYC indie scene look.
The scene will be filmed indoors and involves dancing and watching a live performance, with the story set in 2003.
The tentative shoot date is Tuesday, February 24. Pay rates are $224 for 8 hours for SAG AFTRA performers and $187 for 10 hours for non union talent. Applicants who match the look and are available for the date are encouraged to submit for consideration. SAG-AFTRA rates apply where applicable.

AUDIENCE AT INDIE ROCK/ POP MUSIC VENUE: SAG & NON SAG, men & women, 20s-30s age range, all ethnicities, NYC Cool Indie Scene Types. Will be a crowd dancing & watching a show.
INTERIOR.
SAG-AFTRA BG Rate: $224/8hrs
NON SAG Rate $187/10hrs
Set in 2003.

We will be creating atmospheric smoke (water-based).
