Background Extras for MTV Series in Atlanta, GA

On Location Casting is now seeking new faces to appear as paid background extras for an upcoming MTV series filming in the Atlanta, GA area. Casting is open to non-union talent only, and all applicants must be local to Atlanta as no travel or accommodations will be provided.

Extras are needed for one day only.

Roles include a variety of featured background characters such as shoppers, restaurant patrons, truck drivers, business professionals, and warehouse workers. Wardrobe requirements vary by scene, and talent must provide and wear their own appropriate clothing.

Project: Reality Series for MTV
Shoot Location: ATLANTA, GA area –MUST be able to work in the ATLANTA area as a LOCAL HIRE!! (Transportation/Accommodation will not be provided)

DATE NEEDED: TUESDAY 3/31/26
—we do NOT have exact Call/Wrap times, so you should have FULL day/evening/night available to allow for whatever the Call Time ends up being. Some call times MAY be in the late afternoon/evening, but they will not be overnight shoots
UNION STATUS: NON-UNION
BACKGROUND Rates of PAY: -Filming: $100.00 for up to 8 hours guarantee – plus OT after 8 hours (you will likely work less than 8 hours but will still be paid the full 8 hour rate – this project usually average a 4-6 hour shoot, most times even less!)

ROLES: FEATURED BACKGROUND (small scenes)

HOUSE/RESTAURANT Scene
—(1) Best Friend Sylvia (FEATURED EXTRA, needed all day – for 2 scenes) MUST BE ABLE TO ACT AND HOLD A CONVERSATION about Marriage! 21-36, racially ambiguous, pretty and fun, must have a car! *We are able to offer this person $200 for the whole day, she will be needed in a scene at 12pm and a scene in the evening (estimated times right now – so MUST be available all day). MUST submit with a reel and resume – or record a short cell phone video with slate, profiles and tell us about your acting experience!!!

LAW OFFICE
–(2) Law Office Workers, male and female, 30s-40s, any ethnicity, dressed professionally for a legal office. Men must have suits, Women must have business attire. Conservative, professional types

BOOKSTORE
–(1) Male Lawyer, 45-65, any ethnicity, must be able to speak about the LSATS confidently. MUST have a suit!
–(1) Book Store Patrons, males and females, any age, any ethnicity, with a purse or backpacks and please bring a book or 2

RESTAURANT
–(1) Sylvia’s Boyfriend, Male, 21-36, racially ambiguous, good actor and able to hold a conversation, fun and comfortable having a fake girlfriend
–(4) Restaurant Patrons, any age, any ethnicity
